As you get higher level, it is advisable to buy additional relic slots using gems. At their higher levels some should have a decent time soloing attacks allowing you to hold your army back in order to minimize losses. You should probably focus on leveling at least a 3 star titan. The relics are more valuable used towards forging. If you’re leveling, it might be more beneficial to have more maxed 3 star relics as opposed to one or two maxed 4 star relics, especially since they’re easier to level.įrankly, I never sell relics for gold. So if you’re looking to make your panthers as strong as possible, you might equip both 3 and 4 star versions of an item on a titan to maximize the bonuses for a unit. Also, you can equip 3 and 4 star versions of relics on a titan at the same time (whereas you can’t equip two 4 star relics of the same name on the same titan). I generally keep a few of each 3 star relic because some don’t have 4 star equivalents (fire ring and ice ring for example). (These are the levy’s, tomes, and warps.). The lone exception are the 2 star relics used to reduce cost/time at Spell Forges/Barracks. I understand it all depends on your Titan/Troops etc but are there any general recommendations or even better, specific Relics that are commonly used and always worth forging.?Īny other tips on Relic 'Management' are more than welcome, thanks in advance for your help/time.!Īll 1 star and 2 star relics are completely irrelevant and should be forged into 4 star relics. Since it is almost L10 now I wonder which Relics are ideal to upgrade next and which 3*/4*are 'useless' and I shouldn't spend food on. I just took the 1st 4* I ever got and started upgrading it when I started the game some weeks ago. Is selling Relics for 200 Gold each a sensible option, should I maybe invest Gems in more Relic storage space or bite the bullet and keep forging while burning food.?ģ) I have a few 4* and a lot of 3* Relics. I can't afford to use 10x 30K food per forge session to make room for 40x Relics. It's an Eternal Embers Monster Infrequent so you'll have to farm one with a good roll.Hi all, I have some noob questions about Relic 'management' since I now consistently hit the 200 Relics mark after every fight.:ġ) Ideally I think I should use 1*/2* Relics for forging, right.? Are there 2* Relics I want to save, should I save at least 1 Relic each or just burn them all.?Ģ) Food is still needed for healing troops while leveling my (pathetic 2*) Titan. Fallen Seer's Staff is what I would choose for a non-vitality based build. (Caster Life Draining Builds) Necklace of Harmonia, Band of Souls & Praxidikae or Fallen Seer's Staff (EE Monster Infrequent) Praxidikae is a staff that deals Vitality damage which makes it an amazing weapon for any Spirit builds designed around Vitality damage. When you see information missing on this page - that's why! I typically play Titan Quest a few months every year and I update and add more to the guides on my website each time I do. Note: This guide is worked on periodically throughout the year. For any build that uses primarily Piercing Damage the combination of these items will give you an absolutely insane damage boost. An example of what item pairings you'll find on this page are Tracker's Hood and Apollo's Will - both of these items give you +100% Piercing Damage. On this page I have documented item pairings that are generally considered to be overpowered in the game. This was my impetus for writing this guide. These are shortcomings on my part and as a guide writer I need to take into consideration that there are others who play the game differently than me with different strengths and weaknesses. It's something I always forget to do and it ends up getting me killed constantly because I only remember after dying that I need to change my gear - not before. For this reason almost all of the gear I recommend in my build guides is for tanking purposes.Īdditionally I almost never "gear swap" with my characters because I really loathe gear swapping in video games. I build every character I play in Titan Quest like a tank, focusing entirely on stacking every resist as high as it can go and I ignore other things like +% damage increases. How I play this game is different from how many others play this game. This page is something I decided to put together after realizing that my Build Guides were lacking in specialized information about each build in Titan Quest.
